What age should I start using Hyaluronic Acid?
Natural Hyaluronic Acid volumes start to decrease as early as our late twenties so to prevent premature signs of aging and help the skin to maintain its moisture, many people start using topical Hyaluronic Acid around mid-late twenties.
Is your skincare suitable for both females and males?
Definitely! At Habitual Skin, we understand that skin aging is not gender-specific; both men and women experience it in similar ways. How frequently should I use Retinol Serum?
Vitamin A is a powerful active ingredient and has been known to cause irritation when over-used. For each use, apply 1-2 pumps in the evening to clean, dry skin.
- For new retinoid users: use two days on, two days off. Work your way up to every other day, then to daily, evening use. Follow with a hydrating serum like our Hyaluronic Acid Serum or moisturizer.
- For advanced retinoid users: use daily in the evenings. Follow with a hydrating serum or moisturizer.
- For sensitive skin: apply a few drops of our hyaluronic acid serum to your skin before applying the Retinol Serum.
Why is your Retinol delivery system superior?
We chose the ROVISOME® delivery system because it allows our active ingredients to work deeper into the skin layers where acne and other impurities begin without the typical irritation seen with the use of other Retinol products.
Can the Peptide Eye Cream be applied to the eyelids, or should it only be used around the under-eye area?
Our Peptide Eye Cream is designed to be applied to the skin around the eyes, both below and around the orbital bone. However, it should not be applied directly to the eyelids. For the best results and to avoid any potential irritation, we recommend gently dabbing the cream around the under-eye area and along the orbital bone, ensuring it doesn't come into contact with the eyelids.
